I’ve always loved beautiful handwriting. My mother has incredible handwriting. People are facinated when they see her write. She writes in script, very slowly, forming each letter perfectly. It is beautiful! When I came across this I ran out and bought myself a calligraphy pen and ink to play with this weekend. Mara Zepeda of Neither Snow has studied Copperplate and Italic calligraphy in New York. She can also be found on Etsy.
For me, the beautiful thing about Lee’s photography is that she reveals so much of herself through the lens, even more then the subjects she captures. Loving the distinctive style of Mark Osburn and Wayne Clarke of Osburn/Clarke Productions Inc. I love that the homes look so solid and grounded in their sites. I love the huge timber beam work and ceilings, the generous windows and verandahs. Each seems to be a perfect balance of timber and stone and light and space.
